In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible and eliminate possible misunderstandings, please familiarize yourself with the house rules. At the beginning of your stay in the facility, it is assumed that you are familiar with its points and that you agree with them and that you will fully adhere to them. Failure to comply with the house rules may result in cancellation of the reservation and payment of the full price of the stay, regardless of any previous forced departure.
Arrival and departure
Accommodation is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival and until 10:00 on the day of departure.
We kindly ask you to leave the accommodation by 10 am on the day of departure so that it can be cleaned and prepared for other guests who come after you and have the right to enter from 16:00. The keys and card must be returned to the host. If possible, the host can allow earlier entry or longer stay in the facility. You are obliged to leave the object you rented in the condition you found it on arrival - clean, tidy and undamaged. If the host determines that the guest has left the facility in an unacceptable condition or damaged, the cost of damage or bringing the facility to an acceptable condition will be charged to the guest from the security deposit.
Expenses before the stay
The costs of accommodation and services according to the specification are paid in person to the host if you have not already paid. Payment is made in Euros.
Central power connection card
Along with the keys, you also received a card that is used to start the electricity in the unit. The card is inserted into the device next to the front door. Without the card, only basic appliances such as hot water boiler and refrigerator work. If the card is in the device and the guest opens the door or window, the air conditioner will be deactivated after a minute. All doors and windows need to be closed for the air conditioner to work. When leaving the apartment, be sure to remove the card from the device. Watch your keys and cards - loss and / or damage will be charged to the guest from the security deposit.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
The price includes towels, bed linen, kitchen towels, toilet paper, hand soap and dish detergent. Bed linen is changed at each change of guests, and guests staying more than 7 days are given clean bed linen every 7 days. Bed linen can be changed earlier at an additional cost. The guest has at his disposal one large and one small towel. Towels are changed every 3 days but can be changed more often for a fee. Used towels are left on the bathroom floor. During the use of the facility, you are obliged to maintain hygiene and cleanliness and dispose of household waste for that particular place - in bins in front of the building that are emptied on a daily basis. It is forbidden to leave waste in the environment and in the facility. It is also forbidden to throw rubbish in toilet bowls, washbasins and other places that are not intended for that.
Waste recycling and disposal
In front of the building there are 3 waste bins: a larger bin for mixed waste and two smaller bins for bottles (glass and plastic) and cans. The recycling island is located 50 m from the building, downhill, on the main road. Here you can dispose of paper waste, glass and plastic.
Security
Weapons, flammable and explosive substances and substances with a strong or unpleasant odour are not allowed in the building. It is also not allowed to bring in electrical appliances for which you have not received the consent of the host. This rule does not apply to electrical appliances for personal care (razors, etc.). When you go out of the building BE SURE to turn off the electrical appliances, close the taps and lock the door. Also BE SURE to remove the card from the central power supply device in the building; after that electricity will still be available only for necessary appliances such as hot water boiler and refrigerator.
Night peace
Noise is not desirable in the building especially during the night break from 22.00 to 08.00. Violations of order and peace (loud music, clutter, noise) allow the host to deny you a stay to your detriment, as if you made that decision yourself.
Children
In addition to appealing to the appropriate behaviour of adults, please pay attention to the behaviour of children. Do not leave young children unattended by adults.
Pets
Pets can be brought into the accommodation unit only with the prior notice and permission of the host. The guest is obliged to make sure that the pet does not do damage and clean up after him. The pet must not be left unattended in the building. Bringing pets without permits will result in accommodation being cancelled.
Bringing in unregistered persons
Persons who are not guests of the rented accommodation are not allowed to come, spend the night or stay all day or use the inventory without the permission of the host. If persons who are not registered or not announced are found, the host has the full right to cancel the accommodation for all guests.
Entry of the host into the facility
The host has no right to enter the rented facility without notice and permission or in the absence of the guest, nor to touch and use the personal property of the guest. The host may enter the facility without the presence of the guest only in cases where he has a reasonable suspicion that the facility or property of the guest is in danger and when there is a reasonable suspicion of a gross violation of house rules. The owner is obliged to inform the guests about his entry.
Information and assistance to the guest
The host is at your service during your stay for all the information and help you need. The host is not obligated or responsible for organizing free time and animating the guest.
Guest property
Guests are kindly requested to take care of their belongings and valuables left in the accommodation unit and common parts of the facility as the host is not responsible for their eventual disappearance. The host will do everything in his power to protect it and warn the guest of possible dangers. Also, don’t leave valuables in cars.
Compensation to the host
A guest who intentionally or unintentionally causes damage or damage to property will have to reimburse the host for the full amount of the damage. You are obliged to compensate any damage on the spot. Only then does the guest have the right to leave the accommodation. All damages that are not reported after departure will be claimed from the guest later in court.
Equipment or device failure
In the event of a fault in the equipment or devices within the accommodation unit, please inform the owner immediately who will try to fix the fault as soon as possible.
Moving and taking out furniture
It is not allowed to move furniture inside the accommodation unit or take out inventory and equipment outdoors or in another accommodation unit / pool. Guests are kindly requested to treat well furniture and equipment in the interior and exterior of the house.
Pool - Opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m.
Use of the pool is at your own risk. The pool has no lifeguard service. The floor can be slippery so be careful. The host is not responsible for injuries and accidents when using the pool as well as for loss, damage or theft of value if brought to the pool and left unattended. The depth of the pool in the deepest part is 1.5 m. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to use the pool without adult supervision. Wear a suitable swimsuit while using the pool.
It is prohibited: Using pool and pool area during the non-working period. Jumping into the pool, making noise and fuss, entering people under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, entering people with skin and infectious diseases, using glass cups and dishes at the pool, booking deck chairs, using air mattresses and balls. We also ask that you take a shower before entering the pool, as creams and other sunscreen products make the process of cleaning water more difficult with chemicals.
Smoking
Smoking is NOT allowed in the unit. You can smoke on the balconies and terraces and in all outdoor areas. Do not throw cigarette butts on the environment - keep in mind fire hazards.
Insects and other animal world in and around the building
Villa Lara is surrounded by untouched nature, so insects, especially ants, are a common part of every household during the summer period. If you feed them, a few of them will invite family and friends over, so don't leave food on surfaces. If the “gathering” is too large, contact the host for insect repellent.
Washing machines in the yard
You may use washing machines in the yard for free. BUT you must contact cleaners or the host in order to get instructions how to use them. Washing powder/liquid and softener you need to get on your own. If you want to “borrow” these from the host, one-time cost would be 5€ in cash.
Entertaining area in the yard
This area is for the communal use. Please tidy up all items after use. Also please do report any malfunctions or damages so we can sort these out. All gatherings in the yard must be finished till 10 pm when night peace rule apply.
Grill
It is obligatory to turn off and clean the grill after each use as well as table and benches. Grill cleaning tools and products are at your disposal.
Burning fire
No fire is allowed, especially without the consent of the host. There is a high risk of fire.
Cancellation of stay by the host
In case of cancellation of the accommodation by the host due to violation of house rules, the guest will be charged the full amount of the booked period, regardless of the shorter stay.
Termination of stay by the guest
If you terminate your agreed stay earlier than the agreed or booked date, you are obliged to pay for the stay at the full agreed price.
Complaints
All complaints are only taken into account if they are reported during the stay. We do not accept subsequent complaints. All your comments, suggestions and suggestions are welcome so that we can constantly improve our facility and our service for you.
Introduction to house rules and possible disputes
At the beginning of the use of the accommodation, it is assumed that the guest is familiar with the house rules and agrees to the obligations and conditions set out here. All disputes will be resolved amicably. In case of a dispute, the Municipal Court in Split has jurisdiction.
